AZURISTIC  2011

The Riviera has always fascinated me, and over the years and several visits later, I have started a personal commentary on certain aspects of life in this part of Europe, the so-called 'playground' of the wealthy.  Quite often, this 'misnomer' is often quoted in the media, I suspect because this region of France is blessed with fine weather and good produce, and hence good food. I attempt in this series (still work in progress) to show the idiosyncracies of the people living and working in the Cote d'Azur, and how tourism is so vital to them, how both these diasporas totally rely upon each other, and how it could be the ultimate love-hate relationship.
